Private equity firm Inflexion has completed an investment in UK-based Pangaea Laboratories, owner of the fast-growing Medik8 skincare brand.
WHO: Founder led since 1999, Pangaea is an innovative and fully vertically integrated firm with two facilities in Hertfordshire, where the Pangaea brands are connected, developed, manufactured, and commercialized. They do not manufacture for any third parties. The company has two products in market—Medik8 and Nanogen.
Medik8 is a premium skincare brand focused on science-based, skin-aging products with a strong heritage in the international professional channel, and a growing presence online and in prestige retail.
Nanogen is a leading hair fiber brand for both men and women in the UK market. Over 20 years, Nanogen has built a cult following of loyal and dedicated customers and has been listed in Boots since 2010.
WHY: The partnership will enable the business to focus on growing digital channels and international distribution.
